Opportunities truly present themselves in times of crisis. We lost our household help about a month ago and fortunately, we are doing quite well despite their absence. Although we've managed to find replacements, everyone has taken on their share of responsibilities.

I was never really a kitchen person but I find myself cooking everyday and to my and everyone else's surprise, I actually enjoy it! There are still many more things to learn but I can cook more than just fried egg now. Haha! Baby steps!:)

Also, I recently celebrated my birthday.:) It was a quiet one, without much fanfare, but it was just the way I wanted it. The people who are most important to me were around and that's all that really matters.
